Stanley Park is one of the many varied aspects of Vancouver. Just a 15-20 minute walk from Downtown and your in 400-hectares of grassed parkland.
The park is surrounded by the 8.8km sea wall and bike path and as well as the beautiful gardens is home to a water park, beaches, community centres, fitness centres, ice rink, swimming pools and even a golf course.
We spent an afternoon wandering around the north east side of the park and enjoying the sea breeze, wildlife and the First Nations Art and Totem Poles.
There’s so much more to discover in Stanley Park we could of spent several days there but unfortunately the first leg of our Vancouver trip had come to an end.
